Take me home project was started by the idea to gather Croatian product designers and their excellent products in one place. We wanted to offer high quality, locally produced or hand made products as an alternative to mass produced, imported products dominating our market.

We offer Croatian design to both local and foreign customers and promote it as the best Croatian souvenir. We particularly value products manufactured by old crafts’ techniques because of the fusion of contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship, and stimulation of local production and preservation of old crafts.

In our offer you can find products by well known, internationally awarded Croatian designers, as well as the products by young up and coming designers we are trying to help transform their creative ideas into quality products. We encourage and promote social entrepreneurship through collaboration with associations for promoting inclusion and selling the products designed at the inclusive design workshops Extra Ordinary Design in Croatia.

We care about the environment by choosing products made of recycled or recyclable materials, encouraging designers to include care of the environment into design of each product, using recycled paper bags, reducing and recycling the packaging used for shipping, recycling our own trash and using ecological cleaning products and light bulbs in our business space.

Take me home was opened in 2013 and since then has been featured in New York Times, The Times, Australian Financial Review and other media. We are recommended by Lonely Planet, Trip Advisor, Time Out Croatia and numerous specialised guides for different countries.
